Campaign Videos
A deeper look at what the proposed Yntegra/Rosewood Hotels resort development means for Sampson Cay’s environment, community, and future.
Protect the Cut - Sampson Cay, Exuma
Miami based group Yntegra, is planning to dredge the Sampson Cay Cut in Exumas, Bahamas and overdevelop the small barrier island, Sampson Cay, in order to build a new Rosewood Hotel property. At risk are thriving ecosystems of seagrass, coral reefs and nurturing tides, and the bountiful marine life they sustain. Scientists, conservationists and Bahamians who know these waters best are standing together to stop this.

A Seawall that Could Kill a Bay
How the proposed supply dock and seawall could permanently alter the flow and health of Sampson Cay’s North Bay.
Live Cam: North Bay in Real Time
This is a live view of the North Bay of Sampson Cay. This beautiful bay is teeming with life, and home to coral reefs, seagrass beds, sea turtles, Queen conch, and other vulnerable species.
Yntegra’s proposed Rosewood Hotels resort would dredge in this pristine area to construct a commercial supply dock, and seawall, bringing shipping traffic into shallow waters used by swimmers, snorkelers, and others for recreation.
